In light of the current global situation with COVID-19, we at GCD wish to assure you of our preparedness for this situation and of the comprehensive plans we have in place for business continuity during this time of disruption.
As an ISO 27001 certified company, we have had a pre-established business continuity plan in place for some time now which fully supports the risks facing us with COVID-19 and have a supporting Emergency Response Team (ERT) responsible for its implementation.
One of the core principles of our plans (and indeed our normal working practices) is the ability to work remotely at both an individual level, but also at a company wide level, should the need arise. We have the infrastructure in place, the tools available and our employees informed, to support all staff working from a remote place with internet access. These plans are designed to assist staff to work from home in cases of self isolation or indeed to accommodate flexible working due to other outside pressures caused by the disruption.
To assist our clients, we have facilities available that will support video conferencing calls in place of face to face meetings, should this format be deemed more suitable.
As a company we are genuinely committed to ensuring that we do everything we can to be able to continue to deliver on all aspects of our business. In the event that a situation would arise where this is not achievable, we will focus all efforts on prioritising customer support, as well as critical and time sensitive requirements.
