This weekend the gcd offices will be taken over by the coders of the future, when we will be hosting the first event for a new Craigavon CoderDojo club. We are really proud sponsors of this club and are genuinely passionate about everything they aspire to achieve.
Part of a wider global movement, the Craigavon CoderDojo club is run by a great team of skilled and experienced local volunteers. Open to all young people between the ages of 7 and 17 years old, the club aims to help children, of all abilities, learn how to code and expand their programming knowledge. Gaining hands on experience of building apps, websites and games, it is a great opportunity to make new friends and get inspired by technology.
The club will be running a series of regular free events throughout the year, with the first one taking place this Saturday 2nd March, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm at our offices at 259 Lough Road, Lurgan, BT66 6NQ. Please note the following:
– All young people under the age of 14 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult
– Laptops will be available at the event for use (you can also choose to bring your own should you wish)

Directions: Our offices are located on the top floor of the office block. On entering the glass atrium, there are stairs to the left and a lift to the right.
Parking: A carpark is available to the front of the offices, with spaces marked GCD. Alternatively there is a park & ride carpark to the rear of the building.
