What is UX Design?
UX in its simplest form is about understanding your audience. What are they trying to achieve? What frustrations do they have? How does their context or environment influence how they will use your product?

Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods you can gain a deeper knowledge about your audience and it’s the job of a UX designer to take the findings and translate them into deliverables that feed into the overall design process.
What is UI Design?
User interface design is the graphical aspect of the design process. It builds on the learnings of the UX research and translates it into a visual form like a website or mobile app.
UI design isn’t the same as traditional graphic design. User interfaces aren’t static, they are living systems that are experienced differently by each user depending on their device, network or environment. The best UI design responds to these changing variables and produces a library of components that are pieced together across multiple screens to form a coherent story.
