UK Dev Awards 2023 & The Spiders 2023
The first month of 2023 was pretty good for GCD…we were shortlisted in both the UK Dev Awards and The Spiders!
The nominations are a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation when delivering software solutions that solve business problems and help our clients gain competitive advantage. But also to the hard working team behind those custom software solutions and digital products.
We’ve been shortlisted for two awards at the UK Dev Awards 2023 – “Project of the Year” for our first of its kind Amazon integration with Cash For Kids and “Dev Agency of the Year (Large)”.
We’ve been selected for the Digital for Good Award at The Spiders also for our work with Cash For Kids.
These awards recognise the best in class technology companies that have made significant contributions to their field through new and innovative products and services. We are thrilled to be included.
The UK Dev Awards Winners will be announced 23rd February and The Spiders awards will be revealed on the 3rd March!
About the Cash For Kids Project
Initially, GCD developed an innovative digital platform to transform and manage Cash For Kids’s day to day fundraising campaigns throughout the UK. The core digital platform, ‘GivingisEasy’, has successfully enhanced their fundraising efforts, helped to better digitally engage with supporters, streamlined processes and ensured the swift distribution of funds or gifts to those in need.
Over the last number of years, the Cash for Kids project has seen continuous innovation, from the original custom fundraising platform through to the emergency appeal application and culminating in the most recent collaboration with Amazon Business, where we developed a “first of its kind” integration that has transformed how people donate gifts.
The objective of the Amazon integration was to further improve how donors could gift Christmas presents to children who would otherwise receive none over the festive season. Each year this campaign makes a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.
