All Hands Together 2026: Challenging Conventions at GCD

At GCD, we believe that staying ahead in a fast moving industry requires more than just technical expertise. It requires curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to challenge how things have always been done.

That’s why we brought the entire team together for our latest All Hands Together event on the 19th & 20th March at the Stormont Hotel.

This year’s theme: Challenge Conventions

Day 1: Reflection on where we’ve been and where we’re going

Across the first morning, we stepped back from our day to day work and created space to think about things differently. We reflected on the changes GCD has experienced over the years, with different positioning, technologies and ways of working. We explored how the industry is once again evolving, the growing impact and opportunities that AI brings us, and we looked at ways that we could challenge ourselves and our thinking.

This wasn’t just about sharing updates, it was about questioning assumptions, current practices and pushing beyond what’s familiar.

A trip to Prison Island in the afternoon put the focus firmly on teamwork –  solving problems together, under a bit of pressure but having great fun!

Day 2: Learning, Building & Challenging Ourselves

Day two shifted from discussion into action.

Teams took on a series of challenges using our accelerator platforms and AI tools – building real, working software in a time limited setting.

We followed this with panel sessions where teams shared how they’re using these tools day to day, what’s working and how they’re getting the most out of them.

More than anything, it created space to learn from each other and continue evolving how we work.

Why It Matters

Our industry is changing rapidly.

AI is reshaping how products are built and how businesses operate. The expectations of our clients are evolving just as quickly.

To keep pace and stay ahead, we have to continuously challenge ourselves.

All Hands Together gives us the space to do exactly that.

It strengthens how we collaborate.

It sharpens how we think.

And it aligns us on how we continue to deliver meaningful impact for our clients.
